“That’s A Big Fight” ‘Most Feared Heavyweight’ Now A Potential Opponent For Anthony Joshua
The self-declared ‘most feared heavyweight’ could be in line for a fight with Anthony Joshua.
Right now, Joshua is on the sidelines recovering from a small injury according to his promoter Eddie Hearn. Last time out in September he was stopped inside five rounds by IBF ruler Daniel Dubois.
Before that, he had rebuilt some momentum with wins over Otto Wallin, Francis Ngannou, Robert Helenius and Jermain Franklin. That solid run of wins came after back-to-back defeats to eventual undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk and left two-time champion ‘AJ’ without a world title.
He is now looking to get back in the mix and speaking to iFL TV, Hearn was asked if a fight with American Jarrell Miller could still happen for Joshua.
“Yeah, the beef is real. If ‘Big Baby’ beats Fabio [Wardley], why not? I think AJ would love to have another fight in America. AJ will fight anyone. I think the ‘Big Baby’ fight is a big fight.”
Miller and Joshua were due to fight in June 2019, but Miller failed a drug test in the build-up. The fight was canned and Joshua went on to lose by KO to late stand-in Andy Ruiz.

He avenged the loss six months later with a points win in Saudi Arabia to regain his unified titles, and last time out for both men, Miller and Ruiz fought to a draw.
Miller’s fight with former British champion Fabio Wardley takes place at the home of Wardley’s beloved Ipswich Town on 7 June for the WBA interim title and the first press conference saw plenty of heated back and forth.
Though the fight with ‘Big Baby’ is undoubtedly unfinished business for ‘AJ’, his top two targets remain a rematch with Dubois or a long-awaited clash with the currently retired Tyson Fury.
