Being a boxer one requires a strong core to be able to land effective punches and react fast while in the ring. For the same reason, among other workouts, Floyd Mayweather would regularly condition his abs with the help of an ab-roller. Of late, a YouTuber popularly known as Barnation tried Mayweather’s workout with the ab roller to get unexpected results. However, it was not boxing that encouraged the YouTuber, it was rather a group of women!

As Barnation narrated the tale on YouTube, one day he went to the beach wearing a white vest. Of course, it was not a commendable choice as Barnation was not in his best shape. In his own words, Barnation looked like “Vin Diesel” in “Kevin Hart’s clothes.” However, to his surprise, a group of very attractive women approached him. But why?

The group of women who spotted Barnation seemed well-behaved and the YouTuber delighted in finding their company. However, little did he know, he was about to face disappointment. “So, long story short. This really pretty group of girls approached me and asked for directions to a restaurant. There’s nothing wrong with that,” said Barnation recalling the unfortunate incident. Soon the group of women left the YouTuber embarrassed out of the blue.

But, it’s the way they asked me for directions. They said, ‘Excuse me, Sir, you look like you know where there’s a good place to eat really really good food,” revealed Barnation hilariously! “I just looked down and that thing [the belly] was hanging,” he said with disappointment.

But, Barnation had to be sure. So he, despite feeling awkward, confronted those women and asked, “Why would you say that?” In their reply, they made matters worse by explicitly saying, “You know your stomach.” So, Barnation misguided the women and decided to work as hard as Floyd Mayweather did.

How Floyd Mayweather Became Boxing's First $1 Billion Fighter

Motivated to get back in shape, Barnation initially did “10 reps 10 times” i.e. he rolled his abs 100 times a day. However, after each rep, he would rest for a minute. But the journey was not easy! While it would be easy initially, after some time, his body would shake and he really had to push himself beyond his limits. “I felt like the food that I had the night before wanted to pop back out,” said Barnation, recalling the pain he survived. But, he did not give up.

From the 16th day onward, Barnation started to feel strong and he could feel that he was getting back in shape. Soon, he could roll his abs 200 times a day. At the end of four weeks, Barnation saw the result and was impressed. He was back in shape and wanted to return to the beach shirtless! So, he encouraged others who wish to get in shape too. “This is definitely beneficial, it really works,” he added. Let us know what you think of Barnation’s struggle in the comments below.

Gervonta Davis is known for posting and deleting messages to rivals on social media, but there’s always a record of what he has said.

The 29-year-old from Baltimore is undefeated in his professional campaign and has knocked out all but two men who stepped to him in the ring.

As one of the most watchable fighters in the sport, there’s a long queue to face him. He is happy to entertain these challengers, particularly in the ways of trash talk.

Davis is a part of a group of young US fighters thought to be most exciting of a generation – Devin Haney, Ryan Garcia, Shakur Stevenson and Teofimo Lopez.

Whilst he has beaten Garcia conclusively, it was Haney that was in the knockout artist’s sights late last year. He did not mince his words when warning the formerly undisputed lightweight champ.“I promise you. Your father gonna cry for what Imma do to you and that’s on my dead homie. Ya best bet is to enjoy it while you can.”

It’s a fight that has somewhat lost its steam, and likelihood, since ‘Tank’ sent the threat. Whilst he sticks around at lightweight and is coming off his first defence of the WBA title, Haney has won and relinquished a belt one division up at 140.

Still, Haney’s request to be WBC Champion in Recess at super-lightweight, which was granted, has freed him up from a mandatory challenger and will allow negotiations for big bouts, as he puts it, regardless of weight classes or belts.

There’s perhaps no more of a money-fight than ‘Tank’ Davis, but he is now in negotiations to face a former Haney opponent in Vasiliy Lomachenko. The Ukrainian brings the IBF belt to the table and the pair could fight it out for the two titles later this year.

One of boxing’s hottest prospects, Curmel Moton, will feature on Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal’s undercard this weekend.

On Wednesday night, the 18-year-old prospect, who fights under Floyd Mayweather’s promotional banner, was added to Saturday’s card as a late addition.

He will face Russian journeyman Nikolai Buzolin (9-8-1) in his fourth professional outing (3-0).

Even though Moton is still in the fledgling stages of his promising career, there is plenty of hype surrounding the teenager.

Several media outlets have dubbed him ‘the next Floyd Mayweather’ while his mentor insists Moton is ‘destined to be great’.

Mayweather has consistently slotted Moton onto big undercards in order to get as many eyes on his young prospect as possible.

His debut, a first-round blowout of the then-undefeated Ezequiel Flores, took place on the Canelo Alvarez vs Jermell Charlo bill last September.

Meanwhile, his most recent outing against Anthony Cuba (7-1-2) – the only fight of his career so far to go the distance – was booked for the Tim Tszyu vs Sebastian Fundora show in March.

It is, therefore, no surprise that he has been added to the Diaz vs Masvidal showpiece event, which has garnered a lot of interest from both the boxing and MMA worlds.

The pair are set to rematch in boxing, five years removed from their inaugural encounter at UFC 244.

That night, Masvidal got his hand raised after the fight was waved off in the third round due to a deep cut above Diaz’s eye.

Now, they are set to settle their score at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California in the main event of an eleven-fight card.

The co-main event sees former IBF middleweight world champion, Daniel Jacobs (37-4), take on Shane Mosley Jr (21-4) – the son of boxing Hall of Famer Shane Mosley – while Ryan Garcia’s brother Sean (7-0-1) is also in action against the undefeated Amado Vargas (10-0).

Elsewhere on the bill, former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis (1-0) is set to make his second appearance in the paid ranks against Team Diaz’s Chris Avila (4-1) following his win over Roy Jones Jr.

After leaving Mayweather Promotions, Gervonta Davis publicly blasted Floyd Mayweather on several occasions. Besides believing he had surpassed Mayweather as far as achievements were concerned, Davis publicly branded ‘Money’ as a “fraud.” Later he even debarred Mayweather’s protege Curmel Moton from fighting on the undercard of Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin. Now, Moton clarified whether or not he had “beef” with ‘Tank’ Davis.

Gervonta Davis’ return to the ring against Frank Martin was greatly anticipated as the fight disposed of between 325,000 and 350,000 PPVs only in the United States. Therefore, a fight on the undercard of Davis vs. Martin would have guaranteed commendable exposure for the rising star, Moton.

However, while Mayweather and ‘Tank’ bantered, Moton praised ‘TBE’ via a tweet, giving the impression he was taking Floyd’s side against Davis. As a result, furious Davis dispensed with Moton’s fight on his undercard on June 15th.

Now ahead of Moton’s fight on the undercard of Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal II, FightHype enquired the 18-year-old about his “beef” with Davis. “Yeah, I wouldn’t call it a beef. Him and Floyd had some beef going on and I had posted a tweet of me and Floyd. I guess it was bad timing to post it,” began Moton.

Tank felt it was directed towards him. So, you know he took it the way he took it. Things happen [and] that’s in the past. I’m not really worried about it,” answered Curmel Moton. At the same, while questions were raised about Mayweather Promotions following Leonard Ellerbe’s exit, Moton boasted of his association with ‘TBE.’

I got my team. I know Floyd got my back. And I got a real strong team I trust them. I’m going to get on these cards and put out great performances,” Moton added. In this context, Curmel mentioned how Floyd assured him of the opportunities he would receive.

Gervonta Davis confirms he will stay with Floyd Mayweather after Rolando Romero knockout win

It must have been a little disheartening for Curmel Moton to not have been able to perform on Gervonta Davis’ undercard at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. However, Moton assured his fans that “something else” was on its way. Little did people know at the time he would manage a space on the undercard of Nate Diaz vs. Jorge Masvidal II at Honda Center, Anaheim. So, ahead of his fight against Nikolai Buzolin who is a stepping stone, Moton recalled Mayweather’s words of assurance.

What did Mayweather tell Moton when Davis dispensed with Moton? “He just told me ‘Don’t worry about it.’ There’s a whole bunch of other cards. So, I’m right back on this one,” the 18-year-old said. “So, there’s more and more opportunities coming,” he concluded with aspiration. With that said, what do you think of Curmel Moton not being bothered by Gervonta Davis? Let us know in the comments below.
