Here Comes 2026: Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul simulation ends with boxer left unconscious in one-punch KO

Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul has been teased to take place in 2026 – but we’ve already seen the outcome.

Anthony Joshua is a two-time heavyweight world champion who has achieved it all in the sport, but has yet to pencil in his next fight after losing to Daniel Dubois.

After beating heavyweight icon Mike Tyson in a huge event, YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul is after more big names.

He called out Joshua to a surprising clash, which would likely be a mega commercial event.

Paul insisted he could beat the hard-hitting Briton, despite his limited experience which would make him a huge underdog.

The pair then jumped on a phone call and hashed out a surprising plan for a fight, which they teased could take place next year.

But classic video game EA Sports Fight Night has already solved the outcome if the pair were to touch gloves.

Joshua stepped in carrying a huge size advantage over Paul, who stands five inches smaller.

And it was clear from the opening bell, as expected if the pair do meet, that Joshua was in control.

Come to the Ring, Jake Paul challenges Anthony Joshua to get into the ring and insults him; calls him ‘glass chin’

Despite Jake Paul becoming one of the most popular figures in boxing in recent years, it seems that he still fails to earn the respect of his fellow pugilists, who consider him more of a ‘spectacle’ than a real boxer.

His last fight against a 30-year-older Mike Tyson was for the ratings, but in the ring he has not shown all that he has to offer against heavyweight opponents. However, as always, his mouth moves faster than his fists and now he has an opponent in mind to silence his critics.

What did Jake Paul say about Anthony Joshua?

The influencer-turned-boxer recently spoke on a podcast where he said he could ‘easily beat’ former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, whom he said has a ‘glass chin’ and challenged him to get in the ring with him.

This is what Jake Paul said about Anthony Joshua:

I want to fight Anthony Joshua and I’m going to beat him. He has a glass chin, he has no skills, he’s a clumsy fighter. I love you Anthony, we’re friends, but I want to beat you and I’m going to do it.

Joshua currently has no fight in sight, and is coming off perhaps the worst defeat of his career when he lost to Daniel Dubois last September, where the Briton was knocked out in the fifth round by his compatriot in the fight for the IBF heavyweight title.

After Jake Paul’s comments, the YouTuber-boxer revealed via his Instagram account that Anthony Joshua called him on the phone, hinting that a fight between the two boxers is not completely out of the question.

Anthony Joshua has a record of 28-4 and has been a unified heavyweight champion, as well as an Olympic champion in London 2012. However, the 35-year-old boxer has had some rather surprising and painful defeats like Dubois, against Andy Ruiz in 2019 and twice against Oleksandr Usyk.

For his part, Jake Paul has a record of 11-1, although against opponents who are either beyond retirement, such as Mike Tyson, or others in which boxing is not their main discipline, such as Nate Diaz or Anderson Silva.

Unlikely match-up ,Canelo Alvarez Names His One Condition To Fight Jake Paul After Being Accused Of ‘Ducking’

Saul ‘Canelo‘ Alvarez was close to fighting Jake Paul this year.

instead opted to The unlikely match-up was dashed at the last minute when Canelo – currently unified champion at 168 pounds – stick to the traditional scene, signing a four-fight deal with Turki Alalshikh

Paul has labelled the move as a clear ‘duck’ – something extremely few would agree with – and criticised Alvarez for the way he went about it.

Speaking on Hot 97, the elite Mexican champion revealed just how far talks had progressed before leaving the door open for it to take place in the future, but only when he is done with the more serious business of world championships.

“I think everybody wants to see me beat Jake Paul. You know, I thought about it for a minute, we agreed for the promoters to go and see what the numbers are for that fight in May.

“I don’t call that a fight, I call it an event. That event needs to wait. It’s not the moment to do that kind of event at this moment in my career. I think at the end of my career, when I’m retired, maybe. We’ll see.”

Asked how he rates the YouTuber-turned-fighter skill-wise, Canelo said it was hard to say but did praise his dedication to the sport.

“He’s focused. He’s focused on boxing. He’s disciplined. We need to credit him for that. Maybe he’s more disciplined than other fighters.

“But, as a fighter, it’s very difficult to say. That’s why when you say ‘a fight with Jake Paul’ for me it’s difficult to say a fight. It’s more an event than a fight.”

Paul is yet to announce his next opponent, though news is expected soon.

As for Canelo, he kicks off his Riyadh Season deal with an undisputed clash against new IBF Super-Middleweight World Champion William Scull. Should he win and become four-belt ruler once more, extra intrigue is added to an already booked mega fight against Terence Crawford in Las Vegas this September.

Floyd Mayweather calls Jake Paul fight ‘too easy,’ Paul fires back with knockout prediction

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Jake Paul will probably never fight, but that doesn’t mean they can’t continue to verbally jab at each other.

The rivals have a long history dating back to when Paul’s brother Logan Paul met in an exhibition boxing bout in June 2021. At a press conference ahead of that event, Jake memorably stole Mayweather’s hat, nearly causing a melee. Mayweather went on to go eight rounds with Logan in a bout that was not officially scored

The undefeated Mayweather is technically retired, though he continues to book exhibition bouts around the world. During an appearance on The Tonight Show on Wednesday, Mayweather was asked if he would like to meet Jake Paul in the ring, a suggestion he dismissed.

“Easy,” Mayweather said. “Too easy. At 48, too easy.”

Paul caught wind of the clip and replied Thursday morning, calling Mayweather a “bum” and predicting he would need less than two rounds to knock out the boxing legend.

Paul, an influencer-turned-pro boxer, is coming off of a highly successful fight with longtime heavyweight king Mike Tyson. Though Paul’s decision win over the 58-year-old Tyson was widely lambasted for its poor quality, the event streamed live to anyone with a Netflix subscription and reportedly broke numerous viewership records.

Those numbers mean little to Mayweather, one of the biggest pay-per-view draws in combat sports history. He scoffed at the popularity of Paul vs. Tyson, claiming his achievements mean more because of the price fans were willing to pay to see him fight.

“I don’t really know where to go with this subject because if I say something I’m going to get backlash,” Mayweather said. “No matter what I say, it’s not right.

“Well, basically, when you’re watching boxing for free, you can have millions and millions and millions, hundreds of millions of views, but when you’re watching Floyd Mayweather, you have to pay. I did pay-per-view numbers. Check the record.”

‘Owned slave’ – Jake Paul takes angry swipe at Canelo Alvarez as he releases first statement since fight collapse

Jake Paul has torn into Canelo Alvarez for ‘ducking him’ after the Mexican superstar pulled the plug on their crossover clash.

It was reported last night that Canelo was finalising a deal to square off against YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul on May 3 in Las Vegas.

But in a stunning eleventh-hour U-turn, Canelo walked away from negotiations to sign a lucrative four-fight deal with Riyadh Season.

Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh took to social media on Thursday evening to announce the news, writing: “Don’t mess with the lion … 4 fights for Canelo with Riyadh Season …

“The Deal is done … A Lion doesn’t lose sleep over opinion of a sheep… Fear the lion not the jungle.”

Bruno Surace and Jermall Charlo are now the frontrunners to face the former pound-for-pound king in May while discussions over a September showdown with Terence Crawford have re-ignited.

Hardcore boxing fans will be rejoicing at the news but Paul is understandably furious.

“Breaking news: Canelo Alvarez ducked me Jake Paul and is now an owned slave with no regard for the pride of the Mexican people who support him on US soil,” he wrote on X.

“It’s not surprising when his whole career he has done nothing for the sport of boxing outside the ring.

“When all of your events tank and lose money you will all realize who the king of the sport is. 28 years old.

“Biggest fight in boxing history. My own boss. Not owned. 5 years in.

“All of you felines want to see me fail, but god has other plans.

“It’s the era of good. The era of the elephant. It’s the era of MVP.”

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the boxing promotion founded by Paul, also released a statement on the saga.

“MVP operates with integrity, transparency, and respect for the sport, its athletes, and the fans. Unfortunately, not everyone in the boxing world shares those values.

“This situation is a reminder not to believe everything you read, especially when the current media environment is often controlled by those with hidden agendas, including promoters who have reporters on their payroll.

“We remain in active discussions with multiple high-profile opponents and are committed to delivering the biggest fights, the most exciting events, and to working with partners who share our values and our commitment to boxing and its fighters.

“Jake Paul isn’t going anywhere, and neither is MVP. We’ll continue to disrupt boxing, on our terms.”

It’s been a whirlwind few days in the boxing world.

48 hours ago, Ring Magazine reported that Canelo-Crawford was off, only for Alalshikh to strike a deal with the former undisputed super middleweight champion and salvage the fight that fans are clambering for.

In a video released to social media, Alalshikh declared that Canelo will return to the ring in May in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Canelo Alvarez

He is then expected to fight again in September against Crawford in Las Vegas, followed by two Riyadh fights in February 2026 and October 2026.

British boxing stars Hamzah Sheeraz and Chris Eubank Jr are reportedly up for consideration as potential Canelo opponents next year, as is Dmitry Bivol, who defeated the 34-year-old in 2022.

Jake Paul’s Team Finally Release Statement On Canelo Alvarez Fight

Speculation continues to grow that Jake Paul has landed a fight with one of the sport’s biggest stars in Saul ‘Canelo‘ Alvarez.

Paul is 11-1 in his professional campaign and has largely made his name in boxing by facing former UFC fighters, including Nate Diaz, Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley. His sole loss came at the hands of Tommy Fury back in 2022

Last year, the 28-year-old American was involved in his most controversial bout to date, an eight-rounder against 58-year-old former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson.

Though the even was a huge success financially, and marked Netflix’s first high-profile foray into the sport, the main event was underwhelming and hard to watch for many fans who idolised ‘Iron’ Mike in his prime.

Still, Paul forges on as one of the most discussed men in boxing despite his modest experience. He has been adamant for years that he will land a fight against four-weight world champion Canelo, and recent reports suggest that just might have happened.

Initially revealed by Julian Julianus, the pair are apparently in talks to face off in May this year. Whilst the weight, broadcaster, fight details and more are yet to be uncovered, promoter Eddie Hearn today told various media outlets that he believes the fight is ‘done.’

Speaking to Boxing News, the British promoter – who has worked with both fighters in the past – said that an agreement may have been the reason behind Canelo’s mega fight with Terence Crawford being taken off the table.

“It was all very sudden wasn’t it. Is it in relation to the Jake Paul fight? Canelo doesn’t care. Give him the money and he’ll fight. This isn’t a negative but he doesn’t really have loyalty to anyone. None to me, none to PBC, none to Turki Al-Alshikh. ‘Pay me the money and I’ll fight whoever you want me to fight.’

“I guess the talk was a Crawford fight. Now it looks like the Paul-Canelo fight is done by all accounts. Does that make the Crawford fight less appealing? He’s kind of moving into that world now. I don’t blame him as he’ll make an absolute fortune to fight Jake Paul.”

This appears to have prompted Paul’s talent agency BAVAFA Sports, run by his promotional partner Nakisa Bidarian, to release a statement clearing things up.

Terence Crawford

“When there is something to announce, we will announce it. No outside promoter has any accurate insight on our discussions being concluded or not with any Jake Paul opponent (multiple names in discussion).”

Meanwhile, Paul posted that he will be the A-side in his next fight amidst the speculation.

No Doubt as Jake Paul Sides With the Minority on Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford

Dreams do come true. If not, how can anyone explain the way that Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez fight talks have been progressing after being at a standstill for years? Ever since the reports of the fight taking place came forward, the boxing world has been buzzing over it.

Fans, experts, and active fighters have all embraced the excitement of the fight, making their predictions known to the world. Expectedly, Canelo Alvarez has been coming out as a heavy favorite in almost all of the early predictions. However, out of the blue, there have been some people putting their hopes on Bud, and on Tuesday, Jake Paul joined that rather short list as shared his prediction for the fight.

The weight class makes it interesting for Jake Paul

On Tuesday, Jake Paul, alongside his partner Nakisa Bidarian, appeared on the first episode of the Ring Champs podcast hosted by Akin “Ak” Reyes and Barak Bess on the All The Smoke YouTube channel. During the interview, Reyes asked ‘The Problem Child’ for his opinion on their potential fight.

With a calculative look on his face, El Gallo claimed that it would be an interesting fight because of the weight discrepancy between them. The fight carries a mystery factor as Bud has to gain almost 13 lbs for the fight. “It’s interesting because of the weight class. We haven’t seen Terrence go up there but and will he have the power?” queried Jake Paul, expressing his concerns about whether Bud can match the unified super middleweight champion’s skills at such a higher weight.

However, the 27-year-old also believes that the former two-division undisputed world champion has more than enough skills to counter Canelo and he has proven it time and time again. “I do think that Terrence has the skill and is a bit fresher than Canelo,” stated Paul hopefully. The Omaha native only fought once last year, whereas the Guadalajara fought twice. Given everything that has to go right for Bud, Jake Paul still thinks, “If I had to put my money on it I would probably go with Terrence,” surprising everyone on the episode.

The Problem Child has definitely gone against the trend to choose Terence Crawford, as the majority of the combat world is more inclined towards the unified super middleweight champion.

Canelo Alvarez: The heavy favorite

Even during the podcast, Nakisa Bidarian immediately disagreed with his partner and claimed, “I think Canelo destroys him(Crawford),” in a defining tone. Moreover, that has been the exact tone of the rest of the boxing world.

A few months ago, in a conversation with FightHype, Matchroom honcho Eddie Hearn predicted Canelo Alvarez would massively dominate the fight because of the weight discrepancy. “Crawford can’t really come to fight—in that fight because he’s at a massive, massive size disadvantage,” stated Hearn.

Not only Hearn, but even Demetrius Andrade had the same opinion. He told FightHubTV that even though Terence Crawford is a good friend, “when it comes to weight, empowerment, that s**t is real. Canelo is a big bad wolf… I think Crawford has the skills, but when it comes to Saul getting shots and blocking his power shots, Canelo knows how to move, too,” and termed it as a losing battle for Crawford.

Terence Crawford

The WBC interim light heavyweight champion David Benavidez, who also wants a fight with Canelo Alvarez kept his grudge aside and acknowledged, “Crawford is a one-of-a-kind fighter, but weight classes must be respected. I’d give Canelo the edge.”

Whether Terence Crawford succumbs to the weight discrepancy against Canelo Alvarez or will Jake Paul’s prediction be proven right? Only time will tell. But till then, it is fun to collect everyone’s chits for the fight. Let us know your thoughts down below.

“Game Over” Former World Champion Vows To ‘End Jake Paul’s Career With One Knockout Punch’: “Game Over”

Jake Paul has a long list of current and retired stars willing to step through the ropes with him.

The brash 27-year-old brought his significant audience from content creation into boxing, first taking on fellow influencers before graduating to sports stars and retired UFC fighters. With wins over the likes of Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz, discussion around Paul only grew

Despite losing to the first more traditional boxer he faced in Tommy Fury, the former YouTuber bounced back and co-starred in the biggest event of the year in many respects when he faced former undisputed heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson.

58-year-old Tyson was no match for the youth of Paul and was largely uncompetitive over eight two-minute rounds. He lost via wide unanimous decision. As he moves into retirement for a second time, Paul forges on and must choose what path to take next – a more traditional route to the world title he is convinced he will one day win, or more money-spinning events against stars of days gone by. One thing is for sure, whoever fills the opposite corner will be paid handsomely.

Speaking on his own YouTube channel, former super-middleweight world champion and Hall of Famer Carl Froch hit back at claims he was begging to face Paul for the money, saying he would fight for free to ‘end his career.’

“I will fight for charity. Which part of that do you not understand? You conveniently left that out cause that shatters your whole illusion of, ‘oh, Carl Froch is begging for a payday.’

I ain’t begging for a payday, I’m begging to ram Jake Paul’s teeth down the back of his f***ing throat. Boom. Game over. Jake Paul’s bulls**t, fake, clown career over with one punch. That’s all I’m begging for.”

Froch retired in 2014 off the back of a statement second victory over George Groves at Wembley Stadium. His campaign was marked by extreme grit and excitement with wins over the likes of Jean Pascal, Jermain Taylor and Mikkel Kessler.

The Brit is unlikely to land the fight having not featured on a recent hit-list shared by Paul himself.

I don’t Doubt Said, Claressa Shields I Know I’d “KO down” Jake Paul’s Ass… Even After Tyson Win

We caught up with the former world champion out at LAX … and got her thoughts on all things Paul after his unanimous decision win over Iron Mike — as well as the hate he’s gotten over the years
Shields has stated several times Paul is no match for her in the ring … and even though he just took down a boxing legend (albeit at 58 years old), that remains the case.
“I don’t think Jake Paul has the skills to get inside the ring with me,” she said. “Or any of the guys at 154 pounds and up who is ranked in the rankings. I’m not gonna lie to you. 1-10.”
Despite the blunt take, Shields gave the 27-year-old his flowers for what he has done for the art.
“He’s bringing more eyes to the sport and that’s what you need,” Shields said. “Hopefully everybody who is involved on that side can keep building from that and also create a real blueprint to where it can be used for generations to come.”

After mike tyson, Canelo Says He Is Willing To Fight Jake Paul Under One Condition

Jake Paul is adamant that he will face Saul ‘Canelo‘ Alvarez and cause ‘the biggest upset in the history of boxing.

Four years ago the prospect would be laughable, to many it still is now. However, the brash 27-year-old has just come out the other side of eight rounds against Mike Tyson, 58, as main event of a record-breaking Netflix partnership.

Jake Paul – who coasted to a unanimous decision over Tyson in an underwhelming and often sad affair – had made it clear pre-fight that he would be calling out the four-weight world champion from Mexico.

In the ring after the face, he said Canelo ‘needs’ the fight.

“Canelo needs me, so I’m not even going to try and call him out. He knows he wants a payday. So, he knows where the money man is at… He’s going to want a payday and I want to show the world all the [stuff] I’ve been talking about beating Canelo is true and I’ll have the biggest upset in the history of boxing. We’ll fight to really see who is the face [of boxing] because, after this event, I’m going to be claiming it.”

Though Canelo has told Paul to ‘stay in his lane’ in the past and is very much still competing at the pinnacle of the sport, a clip from The Full Send podcast shows that he is open to the idea only when his top-level days come to an end.

“When I’m done with boxing [at the highest level], why not? Yeah, maybe. I think it’s good cause what happens is other people who never watch boxing, they don’t know anything about boxing, they want to watch Jake Paul because he brings fans from other world. Maybe [I’ll take the Paul fight].”

As it stands, Alvarez, 34, holds three of the four major super-middleweight titles and is still looking for big money fights against his peers. Ahead of Jake Paul on waiting list, at least in terms of a fan enjoyment perspective, are both David Benavidez and Terence Crawford.

Paul’s team remain convinced that the fight can happen in 2025. Promoter Eddie Hearn, who has worked with Canelo in numerous fights in the past, told the Ariel and Ade Show he believes it can happen.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Canelo took that fight because Canelo’s just about the money.

Terence Crawford

“It’s such an easy night for him, but I think Jake’s matchmaking is really smart, other than the Tommy Fury fight which they lost, they have never been in a fight where there was any danger at all really, other than the first 20 seconds against Mike Tyson.

“They obviously know, unless they are deluded beyond any imagination, that it all ends with Canelo Alvarez.

“Will they take that challenge? Maybe if the money is astronomical.”
